WAEC has outlasted its motivation, scrap it - Public Gathering for Non-public schools request
The Ghana Public Committee for Tuition based schools (GNACOPS) has approached the public authority to scrap the West African Assessments Gathering (WAEC) assessment.
As per them, WAEC has outlasted its motivation and many understudies' life plans have been sliced short because of disappointment in certain subjects.
"Each administration or each pastor who is truly early will fall WAEC; in light of the fact that it is somewhat delivering our assets and resigning our childhood.
"Someone goes to class for 9 years, 12 years, sits in WAEC tests suppose WASSCE or BECE and afterward they will come and let you know that you have bombed in Math, you have bombed English and in view of that your line is shortened you can't grow any longer," 3news.com cited the affiliation.
Their call is in response to a report by WAEC, which uncovered that more than 20 people have been captured in different test places at non-public schools for supposedly imitating up-and-comers in the continuous WASSCE.
Public Chief for GNACOPS, Obengfo Kwesi Enoch Nana Gyetuah said the case needs proof as he approached WAEC to beg searchable machines to distinguish impersonators.
